Software Engineer
So I interviewed for the Jr Software Engineer role. My experience with Java, Spring Boot, and full-stack development seemed to be a good match. I put a lot of effort into preparing for and passing their technical interview. But then, not long after, they rejected me, saying my "background and experience" weren't a fit, with no real explanation. This was confusing since my experience really does line up with what they said they wanted. It felt like a total waste of my time and effort. If my experience was the real problem, they should have seen that much earlier and not wasted my time with a technical interview. I wish the company would look into how they evaluate candidates to give clearer expectations and feedback to people applying. It would make the whole experience way better if they were more upfront.
- Two technical questions of an easy difficulty level were asked, along with some multiple-choice questions.
Software Engineer
The worst interview experience ever. This company’s hiring process is inefficient and a waste of time, with a final round that showed zero respect for candidates. Six rounds of interviews: HR screening, online assessments, a video call with screen sharing to solve algo problems, three technical rounds (3 persons * 45 mins each), and a final CEO interview—this all dragged on for over a month. For a company of this scale, such a lengthy process is laughable. The CEO’s interview is the deciding factor, but it’s scheduled last. If the CEO has absolute authority to reject candidates based on subjective opinions, why not make it the first round to avoid wasting time? The CEO’s attitude was arrogant and disrespectful, speaking in a commanding tone with no politeness. It was a one-sided interrogation, not a conversation. He provided zero insights about the role or company and didn't give me a chance to ask questions. After grilling me about my education, the interview abruptly ended. This felt like an insult. Over six rounds and a month, to be rejected after a 5-minute CEO interview? It's infuriating. The process reflects a lack of respect for candidates’ time. Most interviewers were nice, only the CEO interview felt disrespectful. People mentioned getting rejected in the final round before, but I didn't expect it. If a company feels a candidate doesn't meet requirements, they should reject them early instead of delaying until the final round for an 'interrogation' and insult by the CEO.

First, there was a brief phone call. Then, I had to complete a timed multiple choice quiz. After that, I was given 3 programming questions that were either Easy or Medium difficulty. The quiz mainly covered network programming and database concepts.
