So I had a phone screen with a recruiter, which was mostly about me and company info. I almost canceled because of reviews, but figured I'd hear them out. The process would've been phone screen, video interview, in person interview, then an interview with the CEO. I thought this was weird. Why not just do it all in person or all on video? Also, the hybrid is 4 days in office. Most places are only requiring 2-3.

So, this company was really strange. The first interview was basically a check-in to get to know each other and for me to introduce myself. The second interview was the weirdest. Instead of the usual questions, they threw me a curveball. They'd interrupt me and grill me with super detailed and tough questions about my past experiences. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but this aggressive tactic of derailing the conversation is not something you see every day. It definitely threw me off, and even though I didn't get the job, I learned a lot. Hopefully, my experience helps you all out there.
- They don't really have set questions; they improvise on the spot to surprise you, forcing you into a detailed and rigorous discussion about minor aspects of your past that you might not recall.

The interview process was really smooth and organized. The company kept me updated and answered all my questions. It began with a quick HR screening call. Then, I had a 30-minute Zoom chat with a hiring manager. After that, I went to their office for an onsite interview with four Supernova employees. They were all really nice and open to questions. Finally, I had one last Zoom call with the CEO, who makes the final hiring decisions. The whole thing took about two months and was one of the easiest interview processes I've gone through.
- Can you share an instance from your past work where you embraced risk?
