The interview process mostly consisted of the manager reprimanding me and another candidate for not wearing makeup, questioning how we could possibly show up to a beauty store without it, even though our skin looked naturally good. I personally maintain a healthy skincare routine for good skin, but it seems Superdrug prioritizes artificial beauty. While I wouldn't mind wearing makeup if the job required it, the manager's initial criticism about our lack of makeup set a negative tone right from the start.
