Superdrug called me after I applied and asked me to come in for an interview, offering me a couple of days to choose from. I wore smart casual clothes, but more on the smart side, and showed up a little before the scheduled time. Initially, I had a one-on-one chat with someone. Then, they asked me to stand by the door for about 5-10 minutes and hand out samples for the interview. After that, I went back inside and was asked a few more questions. The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes.

So the first part was this video interview thing, you know, where you just record yourself answering 6 questions. If you passed that, you went onto the second and last round, which was a phone call with someone from head office. It all seemed to go really well, they pretty much told me I had the job on the phone, we were chatting about stuff you'd talk about after getting the job offer, so I really thought I was successful. Then a couple days later, I got an email saying I didn't get it. It's a bit of a letdown, they kind of fill you with false hope.
