Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Superbolt.
Marketing Associate
Applied and got invited for an interview pretty quick after applying, like the next day. The process had two rounds of case studies after the first screening. One was a live case study you had to do in an hour, and the other was a take-home assignment you had a few days for. It's important to know your stuff about digital marketing. The whole experience was okay, but it did take a while, about 4 weeks, which can be a bit time-consuming.

I had a strange interview experience at Superbolt. Although my resume stated I graduated a year ago, the recruiter asked if I was on spring break, claiming she asked everyone that and hadn't read my application. She seemed uninterested and rushed through questions. When I asked two questions about the company and role, she only answered one and mentioned a short exercise for the second round. A day later, I was informed they proceeded with another candidate, despite hiring for multiple positions. The interviewer admitting she'd never visited the office added to the suspicion.
- Could you provide an overview of your resume?

I had an interview in June that started with an HR screening. Then I moved on to a case interview that took an hour and involved filling in missing KPIs and answering questions. I got a rejection email that same week. Later, in late August, I was surprisingly asked to do a presentation for the senior team, which was another hour-long interview. After that third round, HR sent me another automated rejection. It was a frustrating process with poor communication. Two long case studies felt like too much for an entry-level training program, especially with no feedback.
