first a phone screen and then an interview with the hiring manager, followed by 4 weeks of silence, and then a rejection. This isn't the first time this company has ghosted me.

It started with a quick introductory chat about the job and how the interviews would go, and they said they'd be in touch the next week. When I didn't hear anything, I followed up and was told they were still working on it. About 10 days later, they reached out and wanted to interview with the hiring manager the very next day. They also asked for my availability for four more 30-minute chats with other team members. The hiring manager chat went great, and I was told to expect the next steps soon. But then, communication dropped off again. A week later, I followed up to check in and give my availability. Another week went by with no word, so I reached out again to see if they needed any more info. Still no reply. I decided to reach out one last time to see if I was still even in the running. No response yet, though my status online says I'm still interviewing. Honestly, it was a letdown. The people I did talk to were cool, but the lack of communication, the super-short notice for interviews, and not knowing what happened at the end made it one of the most annoying interview processes ever. Even a quick update about delays or a change of plans would've helped a lot.

Standard interview process. First, a recruiter phone screen checking key qualifications like my auditing experience. Then, a hiring manager phone screen going into more detail about my resume and giving an overview of the job and company. Lastly, an on-site interview with a panel of stakeholders for the position and department. Each 1:1 interview was about an hour, and lunch was provided. Everyone was professional, respectful, and accommodating throughout.
