It was alright - I spoke with a recruiter first and they mentioned the initial interview would be a relaxed conversation. I prepped for it regardless, but it was nothing like a casual chat. The questions were challenging, though I did get some helpful feedback after the interview.

I got an email asking if I wanted to talk. I scheduled a phone call and had a good chat with the recruiter. They told me about the process: a second interview with a Hiring Manager, and then a third with a panel if things kept going. They said to reach out if I didn't hear back. I followed up the next week since I hadn't heard anything and was told things were busy but thanks for reaching out. I followed up a second time the next week and got the same email. I haven't heard anything since so I'm guessing it's over, but it would have been professional to get some closure.

It started with a quick introductory chat about the job and how the interviews would go, and they said they'd be in touch the next week. When I didn't hear anything, I followed up and was told they were still working on it. About 10 days later, they reached out and wanted to interview with the hiring manager the very next day. They also asked for my availability for four more 30-minute chats with other team members. The hiring manager chat went great, and I was told to expect the next steps soon. But then, communication dropped off again. A week later, I followed up to check in and give my availability. Another week went by with no word, so I reached out again to see if they needed any more info. Still no reply. I decided to reach out one last time to see if I was still even in the running. No response yet, though my status online says I'm still interviewing. Honestly, it was a letdown. The people I did talk to were cool, but the lack of communication, the super-short notice for interviews, and not knowing what happened at the end made it one of the most annoying interview processes ever. Even a quick update about delays or a change of plans would've helped a lot.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with HR, then went to the hiring manager, and a decision was made shortly after. The interview itself felt like a natural conversation with questions sprinkled in. They weren't too difficult and were mostly situational. Overall, it was a really good experience interviewing with Suntory.
