The interview was great! Everyone was really engaged and we talked for a long time; there was wonderful energy in the room. They made me a verbal offer at the end. Then... I didn't hear anything for about six months. No one would respond to my emails. They popped up after all that time ignoring messages like nothing had happened and apparently thought that was OK, and we could just pick up where we left off. At that point, not only did I have a different position, I really didn't trust how they treated employees. So I declined, and gave feedback as to why.

I applied online on a Wednesday. On Thursday, I had a 45-minute recruiter interview that went well. I was then asked about doing a second phone interview on Friday morning with the supervisor. I agreed. I interviewed with the supervisor on Friday morning around 9:30am, and it also went well. I was then asked if I could come in at 12 noon for a face-to-face interview at HQ. I arrived early for the interview and saw they were interviewing at least one other person before me, which was fine. I did the first face-to-face interview and was asked to stay for a second one. During the second interview, the interviewer admitted they hadn't read my resume and at the end, mentioned the position required a certification, which wasn't in the job description. I felt I was brought in just to meet a quota and the certification requirement at the end seemed unethical.

I talked with the Recruiting Manager first, and they shared a lot about the company and industry, which was surprising. I didn't expect them to ask about my past experience as much. Usually, it's a quick intro and then off to leadership. After that, I was invited to come in a week or so later to meet some people. They were nice, but the interview itself was pretty standard and easy.

First call was a recruiter screening. Then, I had an in-office interview about a week later. After that, there was a second in-person round, and then an offer came pretty quickly. I agree with others that the recruiter contact was kind of condescending, but the other people I talked to were much better to deal with.
