First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sunstates Security.
Security Guard
We'll have a structured interview where we'll ask about your background and do some extra checks to see how you handle things like conflicts, your judgment, and customer service skills. You'll also need to tell us about your work history, especially times you handled conflicts well or made customers happy.
- How would you approach a conflict situation?
- In your own words, what does good customer service mean?
Security Officer
I was a former employee at this company for years and left on good terms, but during my recent interview process, they treated me unfairly because I didn't provide a two weeks notice. The previous work environment was hostile due to a client rep yelling at me, so I couldn't work there anymore, especially when an authority figure had anger issues.
- I don't remember the questions asked as it was a while ago.
Security Officer
I was contacted by someone from Sunstates within 2 days of applying. The process was really fast, like they needed to hire someone immediately for a contract. I met the captain at their main post. She was really nice and polite. We found an empty conference room to do the interview. It wasn't super focused but it was pretty low pressure if you're used to selling yourself. Being confident helps a lot.
- Tell me why you were interested in working for Sunstates.
- Could you describe your professional background?
- Are you currently enrolled as a student?
