Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sunshine Sachs.
Account Executive
It was straightforward, but the number of rounds felt a bit excessive and inconvenient. The recruiter was quite helpful and flexible throughout. The position wasn't the ideal fit for me, but I had a generally positive interview experience.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What would you say is your biggest strength?
- What do you consider your biggest weakness?
Account Executive
HR reached out to set up a phone chat, and I got a calendar invite to confirm. When it was time for the call, the HR person asked to reschedule for an hour later, which I was fine with. At the new time, I waited by my phone for 10 minutes before emailing HR to check if it was still a good time. I didn't hear back until the next morning. We rescheduled again for that evening and had the interview. It lasted an hour, and the HR person seemed to be doing other work while asking questions. I sent a thank you note, and a week later, HR followed up to ask about my salary needs because she 'lost her notes.' I never heard back after that. It feels like there's a lot going on there.
- Can you share your previous experiences?
- What are your experiences with celebrity media relations?
- Who are your contacts in media relations?
Account Executive
I was contacted by a recruiter. She said she would email me the next day to schedule a follow up interview with the department head. I never heard back after multiple follow-ups. The HR head then sent me an email on accident with other applicants' resumes. It was a mess and I would not want to work at the company based on my interview experience alone.
- Which celebrity would you want to collaborate with and what's your reasoning?
