The process was pretty easy because I had a referral. I got an interview scheduled but then I never heard back from them. The questions they asked were straightforward and simple, covering basics like why I wanted to work at Sunshine Sachs. Nothing was overly challenging, though I wish they'd at least sent a rejection email.

First, I had a call with a recruiter. Then, there were two video calls with the team, plus a writing assessment. It was a pretty easy process overall. The interviews were more of a vibe check than a real assessment of skills for the role.

HR reached out to set up a phone chat, and I got a calendar invite to confirm. When it was time for the call, the HR person asked to reschedule for an hour later, which I was fine with. At the new time, I waited by my phone for 10 minutes before emailing HR to check if it was still a good time. I didn't hear back until the next morning. We rescheduled again for that evening and had the interview. It lasted an hour, and the HR person seemed to be doing other work while asking questions. I sent a thank you note, and a week later, HR followed up to ask about my salary needs because she 'lost her notes.' I never heard back after that. It feels like there's a lot going on there.

The process started with an HR screening, then another call with HR. After that, I had two in-person interviews: one with a VP and another with a Partner. I got an offer fast-tracked because another company had already made me an offer. The whole thing wrapped up in about a week or two.
