First, I had an initial call with HR, which was brief and mostly involved them reviewing my professional background and why I applied (about 20 minutes). The second stage was with the Southern Sales Director. This conversation quickly focused on aspects not crucial for the hiring decision. She then scheduled a phone interview. On the scheduled day, the interview lasted 2 hours. I spoke for a maximum of 15 minutes. She didn't disclose salary information and focused more on a lengthy debrief of the role, leaving little room to discuss my motivations or potential future collaboration. Four weeks later, despite following up, I haven't heard anything about the outcome.

I submitted my resume and got a call the next day to apply online. A week later, the store manager called me for an interview the following week. A week after that, he called again to say I moved on to the district manager interviews. Then, a week later, I had an hour-long "audition" where I stood on the sales floor, tried to sell, and learned some product knowledge and training. I didn't get the job. The whole process took a month and felt like I was getting closer after each step, but it turned out to be a waste of time.

It started with a call from the district manager. We talked about what I'm doing now, and she told me about the job and her own management experiences. After that, I had an in-person meeting with both the store manager and the district manager. They asked me a lot of the same questions over and over, just to be sure I really knew my stuff. Then, a few days later, they called me to offer me the job.
