Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sunglass Hut.
Assistant Manager
The interview process involved a screening, followed by a virtual interview. Initially, I felt confident because the interviewer was pleasant. However, I became a bit confused towards the end of the virtual interview. I thought I would proceed further, but I actually received an email with my rejection, which was amusing.
- How would you manage a situation where at least three customers arrive simultaneously?
Assistant Manager
Dynamic and quick interview, first a group part and then individually. The individual interview included a short English test which in my case was only oral. The whole process only takes one day and they inform you soon if you are a candidate.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
- What do you know about the company?
- Why are you interested in this position?
Assistant Manager
I arrived 15 minutes early for my interview on a Sunday. The hiring manager was really nice, and it felt more like a conversation than an interview. We discussed many different topics. She decided she wanted to hire me, so I had a second interview with another manager from a different store.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
- What made you decide to work in retail?
