Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Suncorp Group.
Banking Consultant
First, there was an online assessment that was behavioral and organizational. Then, I had to do a self-recorded online interview, and finally, a physical interview. The interviewers were really nice and made me feel comfortable so I could answer questions easily.
- Can you share an instance where you addressed an area for improvement that was brought to your attention through feedback?
Banking Consultant
The process started with submitting my application, which included my resume and a cover letter. Then, I had to complete an online assessment with five questions presented in a chat format, kind of like talking to a virtual assistant on a website. After that, there was a phone screening, and finally, an interview with the hiring manager.
- Could you explain what you understand this role to entail?
- What information do you have about Suncorp and its operations?
Banking Consultant
The interview process was smooth and welcoming. The branch manager was very supportive. It was a positive experience and probably the best interview I’ve ever had. I went there thinking I needed to be very professional and serious, but we had a few laughs which made the interview enjoyable.
- What is your understanding of Suncorp Bank?
- What is your definition of customer service?
- Describe a challenging customer situation and your resolution.
