I thought the interview went great. Made it through all the assessments, got to the face to face interview stage. Again, I thought it went great. Was greeted by two friendly and approachable blokes. Hit it off with them. Spoke about my previous experience and what this job entails. Imagine my disappointment when I get home and receive a voicemail saying “You have been unsuccessful at this stage. Here’s some feedback, be more elaborate with your responses to the interview questions, that’s it really” Like come on, “that’s it really”. I get knocked back for that. Seems like they don’t care what experience you have, especially when it’s 10 years of customer service experience. Nooooo as long as you’re elaborate with your answers, you’ll be fine. Highly disappointing. Suncorp, you should be ashamed. Don’t bother, unless you have a bachelor in English communication, they definitely do not care about you.

It started with some online questions, and then there were phone interviews. It wasn't too tough, pretty general stuff. The recruiter who interviewed me was not from the bank. The interview was about 10 minutes, and I didn't think it was that difficult.

The interview process was quick and easy with an online assessment that was fairly simple but had some math involved. Then there was an in-person one. I was called back the same day, but there were lots of delays until the actual starting time, and I had to wait over a month to start.
