Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Suncorp Group.
Business Analyst Intern
First there was a game based assessment and then a video interview. There was also a group based game to assess how you work in a team and your problem solving skills.
- How do you manage and prioritize tasks?
- What is your greatest personal or professional experience?
- How would your friends and family describe you?
Business Analyst
Applied through seek, which had some questions about pay and suitability. Got an email a week later confirming those same questions and to set up an interview. Had an interview with 2 people a week or two later, then another interview with another person a week or two after that. Got a generic rejection email a week or two after the second interview.
- Six behavioral interview questions were asked during the first interview. Normally there would be a practical component in person, but this was not done because the interview was online.
Business Analyst
After submitting my application, I had to complete an online assessment. This was followed by a video interview where I recorded my answers. If successful, I was then invited to an assessment center for a group interview. Offers were extended about four to six weeks after the assessment center.
- In the group interview, they ask typical questions like, can you describe an interesting project you were involved in?
- They also asked me to bring an item that I carry with me all the time.
