This was for the sciences student intern role last cycle. First, I did the Hirevue, and the questions were pretty basic like 'tell me about yourself' and 'why do you want to work at Suncor?'. About a month later, I got invited to the second interview round. I'd suggest checking out Suncor's values because a lot of the questions tied into those. It took a couple of weeks after the interview to get the offer.

The interview was done on HireVue, which is a recorded video interview. It was a behavioral interview, not technical. They asked me about why I wanted to study engineering and what I liked about the job, plus stuff about teamwork, solving problems, and communicating. My answers were timed and recorded on the platform.
