Applied through the company's online portal. About a week later, I received an email from HR to schedule an interview. I had a virtual meeting with the HR person. The conversation went well, and she assured me I'd hear back within a week. However, after a month and two follow-up emails, there has been no response. I feel ghosted and am anticipating an automated rejection email. It's disappointing when companies lack basic courtesy towards candidates they've engaged with, as it reflects poorly on their reputation.

First, we talked to see if we're a good fit. Then, I had to fill out an Outside Activities form asking about other income sources. Since I have a side business, they inquired about the time commitment. They mentioned they want new advisors to focus on building their client base and not get involved in other businesses initially. If that's okay, the next step is a Background check, followed by obtaining a life insurance license.

Had a one-on-one chat with the manager and it was pretty informative. They laid out the details of the role, the training involved, compensation, and the expected timeline. We talked about the kind of work I'd be doing, like planning, figuring out what clients need, and then pitching solutions. They also mentioned the costs I'd have to cover, and what kind of marketing help and materials are available.
