First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Summa Health System.
Lab Assistant
It was a good experience, the people were very nice. I had a phone call to set up the interview, and then I had a conversation with the department. They also gave me a tour of the department.

Social Worker
I was contacted by a recruiter in April and asked some basic questions. They said the hiring manager would call to schedule an in-person interview, but I never heard back. After three weeks, I saw the job reposted. I emailed recruiting, and a week later, another recruiter called to set up an interview for two days later. I was told I'd get an email with directions and details but never did. On the interview day, I Googled the address and arrived early. I called the recruiter from the parking garage to confirm my location. About ten minutes later, a different recruiter called to say they were no longer interviewing for the position and had forgotten to inform me. I found the entire process unprofessional and disorganized. The job was reposted again the following week, making me feel I was lied to about its availability. Be cautious applying here; your time might be wasted.

Registered Nurse
I applied online, and it was a pretty detailed application where I submitted my resume. Then I waited to hear back from the nurse recruiter. I interviewed with her, and she asked me about my preferred work locations if there were other openings, like if I was applying for a specific floor or any available position. If they wanted to move forward, they'd call me back for a second interview with the nurse manager. The whole process was pretty fast, and they got back to me quickly.
