Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SuMi Trust.
Credit Analyst
The interviews moved pretty fast. First, I had a phone screen. Then, there was a hiring manager or panel interview. The final round was with senior management. Only the final round required an in-person interview.
- Can you introduce yourself and describe your experience analyzing credit risk?
- Tell me about how you've analyzed credit risk in previous roles.
Credit Analyst
The process was long and felt unnecessary. The HR team and the hiring team were nice, but the whole thing took me 2.5 months. The last round was with the Co Head and other senior people. They seemed disinterested and just asked questions about my resume.
- Tell me about what you learned in this particular class.
- What were your takeaways from that specific class?
Investment Analyst
It started with a headhunter interview, then a face-to-face interview, and finally a video call. The whole process was quite slow. I was in Seoul for the interview, and I had to wait for the results for a while. The interviewer spoke Japanese English, so communication was a bit shallow.
- What investment ideas do you have?
