I applied on LinkedIn and had a first call interview. It was an interesting conversation where I learned about a lot of opportunities and felt I could fit the position, but unfortunately, I was not selected. They want everyone in the office in Madrid to create a new hub. However, the HR wasn't able to really answer my questions about the team and what delivery I would need to provide in the 6-12 months. So, it was a screening, but I'm not sure what it was based on.

The interview process was good and gave me inspiration for pump manufacturing. They even took me to the shop floor to help me understand things better. It's a huge company, and their production processes are well-planned and organized. We had two interview rounds, and then a final interview with many managers from different departments who assessed my skills and how I'd fit in.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process had three interviews. First, I had a quick chat with HR to share information about the position and my profile. The second interview was more science-focused, with two interviewers from the experimental team and the data science division. We discussed my experience and graduate studies and projects. They also asked about how I applied data science in my tasks and how often I code, followed by more specific questions about data science theory and practice. The final interview was an onsite where I had to prepare a presentation about my work using data science, explaining how, when, and where I applied it, and if it was useful.

  • What is the frequency with which you engage in coding?

Technical Other

Talked with the department head, then with the HR analyst. They were very direct and clear. Erildo and Karen were very nice to me. The selection process was quite rigorous due to many exams. I have a simple back problem, but that was enough for the doctor to disqualify me. On the day I saw the doctor, they were moving the clinic. They didn't even know I had an interview scheduled. The nurse had COVID, which made things even more difficult. The doctor barely looked at me, and I received the rejection by email.
