The hiring manager reached out to me directly. We chatted about their design process and how they collaborate. It felt really laid-back and not super structured, which was nice. Then, I got a follow-up asking about my salary expectations, and things have been on hold since then.

The interview experience was demoralizing. I initially had a pleasant email exchange and agreed to a Zoom meeting, for which I prepared. However, the Chief Talent Officer & Executive Producer acted inconvenienced and worked during our interview. After asking if I had questions about Sullivan, she became disengaged, focusing on other tasks instead of interacting with me. I sent a follow-up thank-you note but received no response. A subsequent follow-up a week or two later also went unanswered. Based on this treatment, which suggests a poor agency culture, Sullivan is not a place I would consider working or recommending to others.

I was invited for an initial interview, and upon arrival, I was surprised to find out it would be a 5-part interview that lasted over 2.5 hours. It would have been good to know this beforehand so I could have taken the whole day off work! It's recommended to ask who you'll be meeting with in advance. Each interviewer asked the same questions, which were generally conversational, like 'tell me about your work experience' and 'tell me about how we do things here'. None of them had reviewed my resume prior to the interview. The whole process felt quite disorganized.

I applied for the Associate Analyst role through my university's career portal, submitting my resume and possibly a cover letter. A recruiter got back to me quickly after I followed up. I then had three approximately 45-minute interviews at their office: two with potential direct managers/colleagues and one with the recruiter. All interviewers were honest and sharp. After that, I had to provide a short writing sample. I received an offer a few days later. Sullivan was accommodating and granted me an extra week to make my decision since I was exploring other opportunities. I'm very pleased with my choice to join Sullivan.
