Software Developer
Got contacted on linkedin, had an interview with HR, then the dev team, followed by a tech assignment. After that, I interviewed with the manager and CFO. The dev team was really nice and asked general questions to see if I'd be a good fit.
- Can you tell me about the technologies you've used in the past and which ones you prefer to work with?
Software Developer
First, you'll have an HR call. Then, they'll give you a take-home assignment that needs to be completed within a week, taking about 2-3 hours daily. After that, HR will contact you to discuss your assignment. Finally, you'll interview with an Architect and a developer who will ask about the assignment and your current job, but no technical questions. It took them a week to get back to me, and when I inquired about my status, they rejected me with a reason that I don't know certain technologies, which contradicts what I stated in the interview.
- Could you explain your approach to completing the assignment?
- Tell me about your current job.
- What are your skills regarding specific technologies?
Senior Software Engineer
I applied online for the Senior Developer role. The process was quite long. First, there was a 1-hour Skype call with HR and some technical questions. The second interview was with two Architects and was an average technical interview. Then, they sent an assignment during the week, which was expected to be finished in 8 hours. The assignment was lengthy, involving WebAPI design, Web Front end, and Database layer. I feel it's unreasonable to send an assignment that's like a small project without discussing the timeline. It felt like a waste of time and they were just being picky. If you don't want to waste your time with Suitsupply, don't apply. They spend a whole month on interviews and then reject you without a reason.
- Can you tell me about the tools and technologies on your CV?
