Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SUEZ.
Talent Acquisition Partner
The interview process was complex, with interviewers really digging into my skills, experience, and attitude. It actually went over the scheduled time, and I appreciated them taking the extra time to get to know me better.
- What does this company represent to you?
Recruitment Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process. They asked scenario-based questions and questions about the company. The role itself was explained really well. I do think they should offer feedback to candidates, even if they don't get the job, because the candidates took time to apply and interview.
- What is your understanding of Suez?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
I applied for the job and heard back from a recruiter in just a couple days. Then, the Recruiting Manager invited me to come in and meet some of the team. They asked some pretty standard questions about what makes a good recruiter, like 'How do you deal with a tough hiring manager?' and 'What's your strategy for DEI in recruiting?'. Even though I didn't get the job, the feedback was all about certifications and degrees. It was strange because I already had the certification the manager recommended, plus a relevant college degree. For a company supposedly focused on diversity, it felt off to reject someone based on things that weren't really necessary, and even stranger to not properly consider the qualifications and experience I already had. Pretty disappointing experience overall.
- What's your strategy for dealing with challenging hiring managers?
- Can you explain your methods for promoting diverse hiring practices?
