& Process

First, one interview with the department head. Then, one interview with the department director. And finally, an administrative interview to finalize the process. A standard process that builds confidence without too many discouraging steps.

The interview process involved several quality interviews. They were designed to understand the company's goals and the candidate's aspirations. There was a genuine effort to listen during these interviews. The process started with a phone call, followed by an interview with management, and then an interview with the hiring manager.

Applied with a cover letter, CV, and a case study was required even before the first HR interview. Got contacted 3 weeks later for a first HR interview, scheduled for a week later. First on-site HR interview, went well except the HR person was 20 minutes late. Scheduled the second interview for a week later. Second on-site interview went very well, scheduled the last interview for the end of the week. 3rd interview via video call, cancelled at the last minute and postponed to the following week. The interview took place and went well, was told I'd get a response within the week. Days passed and still nothing, I followed up on Friday, no response. On Monday, I received a very impersonal and blunt reply, no explanation, not even a call, just an email, no apology for the delay. The process lasted almost two months, I completed a case study and went on-site twice, with over 3 hours of interviews in total. I sent an email to learn more about their decision and how to improve. Nothing. The HR person ghosted me. I sent another one 3 days later including the director, still nothing. In short, a great example of an ungrateful company culture.
