Project Manager
The process took almost 2 months. It started with an on-demand video interview and a letter of interest. Then, I had to complete two trial task assignments. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager and the Manager of Operations. Finally, there was a reference check for two references. I completed everything, but I got rejected after the reference check. I think that was an excuse because my references said great things about me, and I've used them before for a FAANG company. I wouldn't suggest doing the task assignments because they basically want free labor before rejecting you.
- How would you manage working in an environment with a lot of ambiguity?
Project Manager
The first interview for the Project Manager position at Success Academy Charter Schools was held via Zoom with the director. We talked about my past work experiences and discussed what the Project Manager role entails, including expectations, responsibilities, and typical interview questions.
- Can you share details about your prior role and company?
- What's your approach to organizing tasks?
- What is your understanding of this particular role?
Project Manager
The HR at this organization has had some issues. SA HR reps contacted me 3 times for 3 different jobs. For one job, I was asked to come in for an interview, I followed up to solidify and they ignored me. A couple of months later, I was contacted again and responded to the email but got no response. Then I was contacted on LinkedIn and had a phone interview for another role. I was told to apply and then reach out after I finished the application. I wasted time applying and reaching out to the rep again, and again, got NO RESPONSE. Stop contacting me Success Academy! Their HR has false pretenses that they really want to put you through the process, but they actually just want to use you for numbers. They make you apply so it looks like they're getting applications and picking from multiple candidates, when they already know who they want to hire. It's a numbers game with this organization, and I'm happy to not be working here if HR is such a mess.
- Can you tell me about your background and how you would fit into this role?
- What information do you have about Success Academy?
