First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools.
Operations Associate
First, there was a video interview where I had to answer some questions. They even gave me a practice to get a feel for it. After that, I had a meeting with the hiring manager. About a week later, I got an offer.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in working at this company?
- Tell me about a place you would like to visit.
Operations Associate
Terrible interview experience. It was via zoom for the operations associate position. The lady interviewing me missed the first interview, I emailed her and she rescheduled for later that day and missed the second interview!!. I called her letting her know she missed it and she responded with an attitude saying “it’s not time yet”. When I told her the time actually had passed she said “oh, sorry get on zoom” without even confirming if I was still available… Additionally She expressed the position is very strenuous and high pressure. That seemed to be the focal point.
- How do you prioritize tasks?
Operations Associate
So I had my phone screen for the Ops Associate role today. I had been prepping for a couple of days and have a couple of other interviews lined up this week and next. But this morning, I woke up to an email from Success Academy canceling my phone interview, saying they "filled all the roles they were looking for fill for Operations Associate." Pretty annoyed, but I guess it shows it's a place I probably wouldn't want to work for, and they're likely not organized - my interview was scheduled for hours away.
- Can we discuss your background, the role, and any questions you have?
