It was a pretty straightforward first interview for an entry-level position. They wanted to know about me, my resume, and how I'd handle their stricter approach compared to how I learned in school.

I was invited in for their group interview day. It was a bit of a strange arrangement to be moved around to a bunch of different interviews, while seeing all the other candidates doing the same, but I understand the benefit from a time efficiency standpoint. Most of the interviewers were kind and engaging. However, it became clear for me that recruitment would not be the most suitable area of HR for me, and I imagine it was clear to them as well. I deeply respected that it took them only a week to get back to me with a decision. Despite the position being a poor fit, I left still feeling positively about the organization. They have an admirable mission and are transparent throughout the process about how they operate as a team. After a long job search, I can say this is rare, and I appreciated the places that displayed these qualities.

After applying, I was contacted for an interview within 3 weeks. The interview process involved a 4-hour group interview, with a follow-up expected within a week. The final placement decision is made a few weeks after an offer is extended. The salary was mentioned as competitive with good benefits, but no specific amount was disclosed. The entire 4-hour session included a group activity and 'speed-dating' style interview rounds. The role seems to be very administrative and supportive, focusing on the school's operations. The recruitment and Senior Operations staff were professional and friendly. Downsides include long and early shifts, requiring a 6:45 AM start for a typical 5:15 PM finish, with potential for late evenings up to 6:30 PM for events or late pick-ups. Free breakfast is provided as part of the usual school day.
