It was a quick and easy process, they asked about my availability and prior experience. They also asked if I was okay with standing for long periods of time. We talked about the pay rate and when I could start. Overall, it was an easy process.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online and got a call the next day to set up an interview. The interview was the day after that with a manager at a different Subway location than where the jobs were. The manager mentioned Subway's 'fire fast, hire slow' approach and said a decision would be made the next day. However, this didn't happen, or they were hesitant to inform me of the rejection. I followed up the next day and again the day after. The first follow-up resulted in a promise that the manager would call back, but he didn't. Another employee took a message the second follow-up, and the manager still didn't call back, leading me to believe I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Other

I applied online and then called the store and they offered me an interview. The manager interviewed me and was super nice, asking some regular questions and some more out-there ones like what fruit I'd be. They were supposed to call me back to let me know if I got the job, but they never did, which I thought was pretty unprofessional.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • What makes you a strong candidate for this role?
  • Can you share something you didn't like about your previous job?
  • If you were a fruit, what would you be and why?
