First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Subsea 7.
Integrity Engineer

Engineer
I had a great interview with my would-be manager and an HR person. The interview was about 40 minutes long. The HR person spent about 10 minutes explaining what the company does, and the manager spent another 10 minutes describing the team's work. Then, I had 10 minutes to explain my previous role. There were only about 10 minutes of 'technical' questions, which were pretty basic. I also got to ask my questions at the end.
- Can you describe how you applied Abaqus and fracture mechanics in your past work experience?
Lead Engineer
The process was pretty straightforward. First up, there was a chat with HR. Then, a second interview with the line manager and deputy where we talked about my resume and they asked some technical questions to gauge my skills. After that, a third interview happened where they presented the offer and clarified everything and the next steps.
- Do you have any questions about mobility?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Do you have any technical questions?
