I had an initial screening call, then a full-stack exercise to do at home and deploy online. After that, I had another screening call with some engineers where they asked behavioral questions and about teamwork. The last stage was an in-person interview where we did pair programming with engineers, focusing on the take-home exercise. The interview process was good, and I got a verbal offer, but it was rescinded because StrongMind's online school, Primavera Online, might be shutting down.

I got a call early Tuesday but missed it, then called back and left a message. Later that day, they called back and interviewed me. The questions were easy and straightforward. I felt pretty good about it by the end. They said I'd hear back by Friday, latest, because they needed to talk to their bosses. Friday passed with no word, so I emailed over the weekend to check in. By Monday, still no reply, so I called the interviewer again, but it went to voicemail. I left another message asking how things were going. It's been weeks now with no contact. It's a bit irritating not to hear back after they said they'd be in touch, and no response to my follow-up either. It's a small thing, but I would've appreciated it.

It took a while to hear back after applying, like 3-4 months. The interview was in two parts. They first emailed to set up the initial meeting with the department managers. This was to see if I had the technical skills they were looking for and also to get a general feel for my personality. About a week after that, I got another email for the second interview. This one was with several team members from the department and was mainly focused on whether I would be a good fit with the team and their way of working.

I had an interview with HR and my potential supervisor. We went through some basic questions and it seemed to go well. Later, HR and I set up a second interview that was supposed to be more for me to interview them. They had to reschedule, and I was told they would get back to me with a new time. That never happened. I followed up twice, and they kept saying they were still trying to schedule it. It's been over a month and a half and I still haven't heard back. What's frustrating is that they ghosted me instead of just saying they went with someone else. It would have been more professional to get a rejection than to be left hanging.
