After I applied, I had to do a video interview in 3 days. Then, after I finished the video, they invited me to a final interview in a few days. The final interview included a sample lesson, which was pretty stressful, but it shows they want people who can actually teach. They also gave me good feedback on a concept called "ratio" after the lesson to make sure students were working in the classroom.

Initially, the hiring process moved very quickly, but it soon became quite disorganized and disjointed. I was a bit surprised by the distant and cold demeanor of some of the professionals I spoke with, especially considering this institution claims a strong commitment to community and justice.

You start with a HireVue interview that has about ten questions. If you pass that, they'll call you for an in-person interview. Then, you have to teach a lesson in front of students. If you're not from out of state, they'll want you to send a video of yourself teaching your class.
