It was 2 phone interviews then a super day. The first phone interview was all about fit, and the second was more technical with the senior associate leading the analyst program. The super day was in their New York office. Analysts focus on sourcing, so you should come prepared with ideas for companies you're excited about that might align with the firm's investment strategy.

Behavioral Case

The recruiter was super nice and really responsive at first. Then, the analyst I spoke with was very dry, and it seemed like they just wanted to get the interview over with. They were late for the call and ended it early because they were busy. I didn't get the sense they were trying to get to know me or convince me to join Stripes; it felt more like they were just evaluating me.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial phone call with the firm's head of recruiting, followed by a second phone call with a senior associate. Both calls were quite direct, inquiring about my background and my motivations for seeking a position at Stripes. The conversation with the senior associate delved deeply into industries I track and specific companies I believe would be compelling investment prospects for Stripes Group.
