Software Engineer Intern
We had a general interview with the manager, then a back-to-back interview with 3 engineers in the group. The problems were mainly about behavior questions and C++ concepts. It lasted 90 mins.
- Can you explain the singleton pattern?
Software Engineer
The interview started with a screening call with the hiring manager to go over my background and experience. Then I had two 1-hour interviews scheduled back-to-back with team members. The first interviewer discussed my projects, asked some behavioral questions, and had me pseudocode a function to detect a loop in a linked list. Unfortunately, the second interviewer didn't show up. A few days later, I was rescheduled to complete the second interview. However, the hiring manager joined instead of the interviewer. They informed me that I wasn't moving forward due to feedback from the previous interviewer about 'lack of communication'. It felt ironic given I wasted two hours of my time, first due to a no-show and then for feedback that could have been an email, rather than being led to believe it was a genuine interview. It was unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time, showing a lack of organization and communication.
- Tell me a reason why you think we should not hire you.
- What would you consider your greatest weakness?
- Can you write code to determine if a linked list contains a loop?
Software Engineer
The interview process is pretty straight forward. You will be receiving a call from the recruiting agent first, then you will get a phone interview from the hiring manager. If everything goes well you should expect video or in-person interview in front of 5-6 people.
