Data Scientist
It was a good experience overall. The process had 3 rounds, all done online. The first round was a technical coding interview focused on SQL and Tableau, the second was a technical interview about past projects, and the final round was with HR.
- Can you write SQL code for aggregate queries?
Data Scientist
After a couple of screening rounds with HR and the Hiring Manager, I moved on to a 'case study' round. I was given a problem statement with data, specifically a Route Optimization problem relevant to the GIS domain. The scenario involved a school bus route: the bus starts from a point, picks up students, drops them at school, and returns. The provided GPS data showed the actual route taken by the driver was not optimal and didn't match the planned route. My task was to figure out why the driver wasn't following the planned route and suggest an optimal route for them to follow.
- Can you tell me about your domain knowledge regarding GIS technologies and open-source tools?
Data Scientist
The interview process is rated as medium to hard and consists of 3 rounds. The first round is to understand your background and projects. The second round is either a coding round or an AI-based technical round. The third round is an HR or managerial round, depending on the HR's discretion.
- Can you describe an OCR pipeline that achieves better accuracy than Tesseract?
