The outreach for a Data & AI role was really bad. The recruiter seemed totally unprepared, hadn't even looked at my resume, and didn't explain anything about the job or the agency. When I asked some basic professional questions, they just cut the call short, said I wasn't a fit, and hung up. It was super unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I definitely wouldn't recommend using this agency for recruiting.

Met with a recruiter at a campus fair, then I was invited for a phone interview. About a week later, I was contacted about my availability for a second round interview. Once I replied with my availability, I never heard back. I then reached out to the recruiter for an update and was told that they were still interviewing candidates for the first round and that I would be contacted for the second interview soon. It's been almost 2 months and I still haven't received any information or even a rejection email. I found this to be very unprofessional and it really turned me off from the company.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview journey started with a call with the internal recruiter, Liana from NY, who kept me updated throughout. Next, I spoke with the Hiring Manager in LA, Amarath, who was super enthusiastic about the team he's building. Then, I had a call with the CEO, Stephen Stott. After that, it was an on-site with the LA team, followed by a second on-site where I had to present a 30-60-90 day plan. Finally, there was a call with HR to discuss benefits and performance expectations. They even set up a lunch with some of the LA team so we could connect outside the office. The whole process felt smooth, and I really liked how Stott & May made an effort to understand my career goals to ensure a good mutual fit. It was a tough choice to decline, as I had another offer.

Lots of proposals were sent, followed by a lot of ghosting. This inappropriate behavior was reported to management, and recruiters continued to act the same way. Eventually, there was a 'get to know each other for the role' interview, but then there was silence for a couple of weeks after the submission.
