3 steps interview, first a recruiter, then a director, and finally a european manager. They talked about the job and responsibilities, which were described fairly. The interview wasn't hard. They asked basic questions about past experiences and personal interests. The recruiter was very responsive and I got feedback really fast.

I was very disappointed with how my interview process went with this company. I was reached out on LinkedIn by a Talent Acquisition regarding the role. It was clear from the start that the individual didn’t pay much attention to her messages and would repeat things I had already mentioned before. For example, after providing your CV, you are invited to a questionnaire. After completing, I messaged her on LinkedIn informing her I had completed and submitted it. Days later I received a message asking if I had received and completed the questionnaire. Having passed the initial call with the recruiter and the questionnaire, I was then contacted that all the positions had already been filled. This surprised me because she had reached out to me and I’d completed the steps immediately. I was then invited to be interviewed with another branch of Storm instead for the same role. I agreed. My interview was then cancelled 45 mins before it was supposed to take place and rescheduled. My interview was supposed to be with the Director and when I entered the online interview I saw another person was also on the call (I believe this would’ve been my direct manager, if I got the position). This was fine except the other person looked very disinterested, playing with things in his hand and looking away, which I felt was rude and also gave me a negative insight to the company management - if you can’t be bothered to give me your full attention/any interest at my interview, I can’t imagine how it would be to work there. The director however was very positive, easy to talk with and welcoming from the start. I did notice the other individual warming up to the conversation during the interview. The interview was very casual, they didn’t want to hear about previous work experience and most of the questions revolved around ambition/having an entrepreneur-mind set and money. I felt the interview didn’t achieve much and that I hadn’t had a chance to explain why I’d be good for the role etc. The time management of the interview also wasn’t good so we ran out of time and felt very unfinished. I understand that interviews are not always successful but what made my experience with the company so negative was the lack of communication after. I emailed and later messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn asking for an update and any feedback on my interview. I was completely ignored by her. I would have understood that I didn’t get the role but given I took the time and completed an online questionnaire, phone calls, test (how you would respond to example emails) and an interview - I could have at least been told I hadn’t been successful. How companies treat their applicants says a lot - this is something that Storm employees/talent acquisition continually post on their LinkedIn. However, in practice, they clearly still have a lot to learn on it.

- Are you driven by money?
- What is your greatest achievement?

It was a horrible experience. I was approached by the company and had a good first screening call with a very nice interviewer. Then I was directly sent to two more interviews. One went great and I was told I could be a great addition to the team. The second interviewer didn't even introduce himself and seemed distracted the whole time. Afterwards, I was ghosted, even after reaching out twice for feedback/outcome. I know companies ghost at the beginning, but after three interviews? That's unprofessional and doesn't reflect well on their values.
- Can you tell me about a time you demonstrated competitiveness?
- What are your job search priorities?
- What do you consider most important in a role?
Business Development Consultant
The process was smooth and took about 2-3 weeks, with interviews happening in August. It started with an HR call, followed by a writing assignment. Then there was a round with the People Associate which involved preparing a business case study (though the VP might not question you during this part). The final round was with the APAC VP, who is the main decision-maker. Since she's very busy and has a short attention span, it's important to grab her attention quickly and show your ambition in a short time. The company is new to the industry, so expect a fast-paced environment. It was an okay experience overall, very focused on money. If you show you're eager to close deals and earn money, you'll likely succeed.
