The interview process overall was a good one and I really liked talking with the Talent Acquisition team. It seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and told me about cool stuff that was coming up. Everyone I talked to was super nice and made sure I had a good experience as a candidate. Even though it didn't end up working out, it was a positive experience and I'd definitely consider this company again.

The interview process was really smooth. I had two video interviews with the hiring managers. They made decisions super fast and were always available to answer my questions as I was making my decision too. Both chats were nice and personal. They definitely looked into my background, but they were also upfront about their own experiences! I also appreciated that they paid attention to my personal career aspirations and wanted to ensure I'd be in a role where I could achieve them.

Behavioral Technical Other

A leadership team member reached out on LinkedIn about helping them grow the team fast. After a phone screen with my potential manager, I had in-person interviews with about 6 director+ level team members and the two founders. Even though it felt like a lot for an entry-level role, I figured it's a startup and they need the right foundational team. Those first hires are super important. They asked me a range of questions covering technical skills, personal interests, and hiring/recruiting theory. I felt heard and they considered my responses for their hiring plans. They shared their vision for the company, which was inspiring. The founders were really down-to-earth and friendly. I got really excited about the chance to join, even though I wasn't looking! After the interviews, they called to say they were moving forward with me and another candidate. They realized the original job posting and title weren't quite right and decided to split the role into two, which was a smart move for their scaling plans.
