it was a 30 min phone interview and the lady conducting it was pleasant. She asked to go over my job history, which is pretty standard. She also asked how i found out about the job, if i was looking anywhere else, my timeline to find a job, what attracted me to the job, how much i expected to make, upon which she advised me how much the job offered. She then advised that they would be in touch. I received an email 2 days after the phone interview stating they did not have an appropriate position for me at this time. I was disappointed considering i have over 10 years experience as a top performer in the customer service field but it seems i wasn't what they were looking for. Seems like a great company to work for, i wouldn't have applied otherwise.

I applied online at the end of May and got some screener questions via email a couple weeks later. Then I had a phone interview, and after that, they offered me a group interview two weeks out. The group interview was a new 'speed dating' thing with fifteen candidates meeting fifteen employees for three minutes each. It was supposed to be good, but it was badly done. The room was small and packed, with thirty people talking over each other. It was so loud we were yelling and saying 'what' a lot. The employees seem nice, asking silly and basic customer service questions, and talking about their experiences while asking about ours. SpareFoot seems like a strange company, saying they hire 'misfits' but having a strong fraternity/bro vibe and looking for a very specific type of person, as seen from their current employees. They talk about culture and molding people, but do your research.
- Can you tell us about your past experiences?
- What are your thoughts on handling customer service situations?

They really want to make sure they hire the best people, so there are a lot of interviews. You'll start with two phone interviews. Then, you come in for an in-person interview that lasts the full two hours. This includes a 1-on-1, then a 2-on-1, followed by some job shadowing with a 1-on-1, and then a 4-on-1 interview. Finally, there's a quick 10-minute chat with the CEO.
- What would Ben and Jerry's name an ice cream after you?
