Customer Success Manager
The interview process was very stringent, but the hiring managers were well-prepared, knowledgeable, and treated me with respect. We had a really good conversation, and I left feeling very enthusiastic about the position and the company. I can't say enough positive things about how the interviews were conducted.
- Can you walk us through your career history?
Client Success Manager
The interview process involved two main parts. First, a recruiter contacted me via email to set up a phone interview. During this call, we discussed the importance of company culture, and I had the chance to ask my own questions. The second part was a Zoom interview. This included a technical task: converting a JPEG image to PNG format and then resizing its height to 150 pixels. Following that, I had to demonstrate my ability to perform two specific functions within their platform, using two training videos they had sent earlier. The final segment of this Zoom interview was a Q&A panel.
- Can you share an instance where you persuaded a client to accept your recommendation, even though they were initially hesitant?
- Describe a situation where you had to convince a client to follow your advice on something they were reluctant to do.
Client Success Manager
Rushed and inconsiderate experience. I have never in my career had a hiring manager be so rude and dismissive. We were scheduled for 30 mins and she ended the interview after 8 mins. I am not sure how anyone could accurately get to know a candidate in 8 mins. I had thoughtful answers and questions to ask and the interviewer didn’t look up once and would cut me off everytime I spoke. The team was in a rush to quickly hire multiple people for this role, which is a huge red flag to me that they weren’t even taking the time to actually get to know their candidates. I did provide this feedback to the recruiting team, and they did respond back with a sincere apology but they did not provide any follow up after that regarding next steps like promised.
- What was the size of the book of business you managed before?
- Can you tell me about the size of the book of business you were responsible for in previous roles?
