Assistant Store Manager
The interview process had three parts: first a phone interview with HR, then an in-person interview with one of the district’s Store Managers and a HR rep, and lastly another in-person interview with the District Director and another HR rep.
- What are your greatest strengths?
- Can you tell me about your areas of opportunity and how you've improved?
- How do you think our company can stay relevant with changing consumer markets?
Assistant Store Manager
After sending in your resume, HR usually schedules about two interviews at the main office. The first one is a one-on-one chat, and then the second one is a group thing. If all goes well, they'll offer you the job. The whole thing can take a few months. Knowing someone inside can apparently help your chances.
- What contributions can you make to our company?
- What makes you the right candidate for this position?
Store Manager
I had an initial interview with the district HR manager. Then, I had a next step interview with the regional manager and the regional HR manager.
- Tell me about the most challenging situation you faced with a former supervisor, how you managed it, and what happened in the end.
