Manager
Multiple interviews happened. There was absolutely no follow-up, they just drop you without any notice or basic courtesy. One interviewer made a derogatory comment about unions. They don't seem to respect job applicants or employees.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join this company?
Manager
I submitted my resume at a store where I knew a manager. About two weeks later, HR contacted me with an interview invitation, including the location, date, and time at one of their stores. The interview involved two people: an HR rep and a hiring manager. After filling out a written application, I had the interview. The questions were pretty standard.
- How would you manage an employee who consistently arrives late but excels at their work, performing at 150%?
Manager
The first interview was with a Store Manager and a District Manager. They asked standard questions, like describing a time you handled an upset customer. The second interview was with the HR Director and a Regional Manager. They asked some of the same questions but also more specific ones, like about salary expectations.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
