I had a one-on-one interview, and it was a smooth experience overall. The process was straightforward, and the interviewer was very considerate, creating a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It made the interview feel more like a conversation than a formal assessment.

A recruiter from StoneX reached out to me directly. After an initial screening call, there was a two-week wait to set up a technical interview. Unfortunately, the interview had to be rescheduled about a day before it was supposed to happen. The actual interview lasted two hours and delved into SQL Server and C# topics. It also included a coding task where I had to create a JSON parser. I tried to follow up with StoneX afterwards, but they never got back to me, which was a bummer. During the technical interview itself, one of the interviewers took a break and then rejoined the call while eating lunch for a few minutes. It felt pretty disrespectful of my time, especially since the recruiter had been very communicative throughout the whole process.

I got a call from an online recruitment portal. The recruiter reached out and explained the position, then scheduled me for the next round. The first round was a technical video interview with a panel of two people. They joined with their cameras off and didn't introduce themselves. They seemed uninterested in listening to my answers, interrupting frequently. Their logic seemed flawed and they had difficulty understanding things, not even grasping the processes. The technical questions themselves were okay, but they seemed more focused on showing dissatisfaction than engaging with the answers. It was one of the worst interview panels I've encountered.
