First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stoel Rives.
Associate
It was a really positive experience. Three rounds of interviews happened, and each time I met more people from the team. Everyone was easy to talk to and the questions were standard interview questions for a legal position.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
IP litigation associate
After applying, I went through several interview sessions where I spoke with different panels of attorneys. Each round involved discussions with various attorneys and partners from different practice groups. Overall, it was a good experience.
- What motivates you to practice law?
Accounts Payable Specialist
It started with a brief phone call. They asked typical things like why I left my last job, and why I want to work here. It was a basic intro that didn't really say what they were looking for.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Paralegal Assistant
I first talked to a recruiter over the phone for about half an hour. We talked about the job and what I was looking for, and my salary needs. Then, I had an hour-long video call with the Administrator. We went over the job details, the attorneys and their specialties, and my experience, and they asked me questions. The last interview was in person with the four attorneys I'd be working with. I met with two at a time for 30 minutes each, where we discussed my work history and their specific needs. They said I'd hear back within three business days about an offer or rejection.
- Can you describe a time you handled conflict in a prior role?
