Customer Service Representative
The first step was a phone call, which was pretty laid-back and helpful for getting info. After that, I had a Zoom interview with my manager where we talked about my experience and how it fit the role. Then came a super thorough background check that took over a month. The company doing the check called me to get details on every single past job I've had. I was worried because I have a DUI, but StockX was really understanding and still offered me the job!
- Can you tell me about your qualifications for this job?
Customer Service Representative
The company was in a hurry to finish the interview process. It took over a week to find out if I got the job, and I had to reach out to my recruiter for an update. After getting the job offer, I had to go through a very invasive background check, which was a hassle because I couldn't provide pay stubs from a job I had 7 years ago. I spent two days talking to the background check company to get it cleared. Then, I had to complete another background check, which only took two days. After that, I received a call stating my offer was rescinded due to my background check, but they wouldn't explain why. This all happened for an entry-level customer service job, despite my 9 years of customer service and management experience. It's suspicious because I had checked my background check results two days prior and met all company standards. So, thanks for offering me a job for 3 weeks and then pulling the offer just before my start date. Very unprofessional, and I'll never recommend this company.
- Can you share an experience dealing with a challenging customer?
- Describe your approach to adapting to and implementing new policies and procedures.
Customer Service Specialist
I applied online and a recruiter got back to me in about a week. We had a phone interview where they asked me why I was interested in Stockx and some other basic questions. It was a good call. Then, I was sent a questionnaire to complete, which asked about Stockx's policies. It felt a little odd because I figured those were things I should already know. I sent my answers back but haven't heard anything since.
- What makes you want to work at StockX?
