Team Lead
The interview process for this role felt fair, well-organized, and thorough. Communication was strong throughout all stages, and I felt I had the managers' full attention. They were open about compensation and their business ethos.
- Describe a project where you managed systematic change impacting Stylists, detailing your approach to cascading the news, adapting to the change, and leading the team through it.
Team Lead
The process is straightforward and quick, and I received follow-ups and updates when necessary. You'll meet various individuals to get a better understanding of the company, the team, and the work environment. It's clear they want you to learn about them too.
- Can you discuss your approach to managing people?
- What values are most important to you?
- Describe your personality.
Team Lead
The interview started with a 30-minute phone call with the hiring manager. They initiate the call. If the conversation goes well and they have time, it might run longer than 30 minutes, but that wasn't the case for me. Things were going great, and my application seemed strong. However, when they asked if I could start right away and I said I'd need to give the standard two weeks' notice to my current job, the mood shifted. I'd seen this job posted a lot, and maybe they expected someone to start immediately. I'm not sure if that's honest or good business. Once I mentioned I could only start after giving notice, my qualifications seemed to not matter anymore. The fact that the job was reposted so quickly makes me wonder about turnover issues, and I'm hesitant about applying for other roles there.
- Can you discuss the KPIs your agents and direct reports are accountable for in your current leadership position?
- What is your experience with data analysis?
- What is your experience with mentorship?
