Behavioral Technical Presentation

Got a couple of phone screens after they were super responsive to my resume. Then had to chase them to schedule calls with business and IT partners, which took weeks because they had to align internal calendars. Eventually had those video calls and they went well, got good feedback. Recruiter called back quickly to schedule in-person interviews. Had to wait a whole month, but then I went in for half a day, had great conversations up to the top, was told I was a top candidate, and we discussed compensation. Went home feeling good. Then, after a week, two weeks, three weeks of silence, I reached out. They said they were still interested and wanted to schedule another meeting. Then again, silence. I contacted them multiple times with no response. Another month passed and the position was reposted. It took 6 months total and they ghosted me.

Behavioral Technical Other

I applied for the job online and then got an email asking me to describe how I would deal with a direct report. I did that and sent it back. About a week later, I had a phone interview with the GM, who talked about his background and why he likes working there. I shared my background and what I'm looking for. I thought it went well. Two weeks after the phone interview, I got an email asking for my availability for an in-person interview and to do a writing prompt. I did both. But less than a day before the in-person interview, they canceled it. This was really annoying. They rescheduled for a week later and told me to ignore the writing prompt because it was sent by mistake. I should have just canceled then. I had already spent a whole day on it. It felt like there was a major disconnect, and maybe this wasn't the right place for me. I felt like they were wasting my time. Since I'd already put in the effort, I decided to go to the rescheduled interview. It was long and focused a lot on soft skills. Plus, during the interview, I realized the job wasn't what was described in the online posting. The people were nice, but the whole process was very disappointing. I wouldn't apply here again.

Presentation Behavioral

It was 7 interviews and a presentation that was an hour long. The presentation took several days to put together. In their deck it said don't overthink we know you don't know our company yet. However, during the Q & A portion of my interview they told me what I did was not possible at their company. Then I got a generic email saying they went a different direction. I sent an email to my contact asking for some feedback, saying that I understood it wasn't a fit, but would love some feedback for future interviews. I heard nothing back. I invested a lot of time into my interviews and presentations and they did not value my time.
