Help Desk Technician
About two days after I applied, I got an email asking me to interview. We exchanged a few emails to set up a phone interview for the next week. The recruiter called right on time, asked some questions, and the whole thing lasted about 20 minutes. I heard back within a week saying I didn't get the job.
- Can you tell me what your three main strengths are for this job?
- Describe a situation where you had to deal with a challenging customer.
Summer Associate
Campus OCI was how I applied. It was a really fast process, maybe 20 minutes total to chat and ask anything. I applied through the campus job board. I spoke with one partner and one associate. Didn't really have a lot of time to talk.
- What hobbies do you have outside of work?
Diversity and Inclusion Specialist
The interview process was thorough. I liked how the hiring managers took the time to understand my background and what I was looking for in the role. They asked interesting, thoughtful questions and explained the firm's culture and how it relates to DEI.
- What are your growth aspirations for this role?
Litigation Associate
An administrator reached out and scheduled my first interview with three attorneys. The admin only gave 30 minutes for each interview back-to-back, so it felt rushed with them talking fast and mentioning how little time was left. It was a bit chaotic and seemed like they needed more time. I felt I did well because I was really prepared, but I didn't get to ask my follow-up questions, which I had a few of. No one followed up with me, which is never a great feeling. Some of the questions felt really old-fashioned and not really asked anymore, but I answered them and had a good overall impression. I was bummed when I didn't hear back.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for this role?
- Do you have the ability to bring new clients to the firm?
