So I did a hirevue first, which was like a mix of behaviorals, technicals, and some brain teaser stuff. Then I had a superday which had 3 rounds, 2 regular and 1 technical. Since I went through the diversity program, the process was accelerated. You should definitely prepare a solid 'Why Stifel' and 'Why IBD' answer.

Behavioral Technical

Pretty simple process - first there was HireVue, and then a superday. The technical questions were easy, like explaining $10 of depreciation or a DCF. Behaviorals were also pretty standard - asking about my interest in banking and a general 'tell me about yourself'.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Could you explain $10 of depreciation?
  • Can you tell me about a Discounted Cash Flow analysis?
  • What motivates your desire to work in investment banking?

DO NOT INTERVIEW WITH THIS COMPANY, they will waste your time and have you come into the office for a job they were planning on filling internally anyway. It was a 3 stage interview, 2 in person with technicals, motivational etc. After the 3 rounds, there was silence for about 2 weeks then rejection, only to find out they filled the role internally. Why waste time and efforts knowing they had plans to fill it internally anyway?? It’s such scummy behaviour
