Four interviews in total, and then no offer. A total waste of my time. The last interview was particularly bad because the interviewer, who was in Australia, showed up late and clearly wasn't interested in my experience. He tried to be nice at the end and complimented my research though. The interviewers were all over the world, and I had to change my schedule for four pointless interviews, with the latest one being at 9 PM. I want my time back that I spent preparing.

Behavioral Technical

I applied through a recruiter and expected a few interviews focusing on company fit and technical skills. After talking with a project manager, I was given a take-home assignment, which I finished and submitted. A week after I sent it in, I received an email stating I was rejected because another candidate was a better psychological fit. I tried to get more feedback or details on the take-home review but was unsuccessful. Overall, it felt like a bit of a waste of time; I think they should provide more constructive feedback when they give out take-home assignments.

Behavioral Case Presentation

After the initial recruiter call, I had three video interviews. The first was with the Hiring Manager, the second with three Team members/Team Leads, and the third was a case study. I got the business case an hour before, and then had to give a verbal explanation of my findings to a group including previous interviewers, the hiring manager, and other team members. I got an offer, countered, but the recruiter said it was at the max and they couldn't accommodate my counter. I asked for more time to consider the original offer and then got ghosted. I had asked for the salary range during the first screening but wasn't told, only that my current salary was within the range. The recruiter's handling of counters/acceptances was unprofessional and a waste of my time.

Behavioral Technical Coding

The interview process had three steps. First, an HR screening to see if I was qualified and a good fit. Then, a manager interview to check my experience and if I was suitable. Lastly, a technical discussion to test my knowledge and problem-solving.
